About Maeth...
Maeth is the food side of Henbant Permaculture Farm. Henbant has teamed up with Dan Hunt best known for the his book the Foodifesto and together we are working on providing really good local, organic regenerative food to Gwynedd, North Wales where we are based.
Who and what is Ooooby?
We have decided to run our food orders and deliveries through a platform called Ooooby - Rhymes with booby if it helps you remember but stands for Out Of Our Own Back Yard - It originated, along with a lot of the permaculture movement in Australia and it is run in the UK by a wonderful team of people who are genuinely dedicated to building a better world for us all. Making it easier for small farms like us to build community and a circular economy.

Putting ‘small-scale’ back at the heart of our food system.

Our food system is ripe for decentralisation. Independent food producers are underpaid, and households overpay due to centralised supply chains extracting most of the value.
Ooooby is changing this by building an online trading platform for small-scale food producers.
The Ooooby platform facilitates over 40,000 food orders every month and is growing fast.
